A HubSpot Sales Hub alternative
for owners who want customers.

HubSpot Sales Hub is a CRM and sales software suite sold in tiers, per seat. On its pricing page in October 2026, the Professional tier is listed at $90 a seat a month on annual billing ($100 a month billed monthly) with a required one-time onboarding fee of $1,500. People look for an alternative when that bill is more than they planned, or when they find the CRM holds the contacts but does not go find the buyers. Rocketship is one product that finds buyers by name, emails them from your own Gmail, follows up, books the meeting and answers the phone. Plans start at $24.99 a month, and a phone line is $5 a month extra.

The cost math

Take a team of three that wants the Professional tier. At $90 a seat a month on annual billing, that is $270 a month in seats. Add the $1,500 one-time onboarding fee and the first year costs 12 times $270 plus $1,500, which is $4,740. On monthly billing at $100 a seat the seats come to $3,600 a year plus the same $1,500, or $5,100.

Now the same three people on Rocketship's Frontier plan. It is $79 a month, so $948 a year, with 200 leads a month and no onboarding fee. That is not a claim that the two do the same job. HubSpot is a CRM suite. Rocketship is built around getting the customer in the first place. The point is that the two numbers measure different things, and you should know which one you are paying for.

The $0 HubSpot tools hold contacts if that is all you need. What they do not do is go find new buyers and talk to them. If your problem is an empty pipeline rather than a messy one, the CRM was never the missing piece.

If your contacts already live in HubSpot, Rocketship reads HubSpot exports directly. Importing your own contacts is free, and a lead is only used when Rocketship starts working a contact. For a side-by-side that goes feature by feature, see Rocketship vs HubSpot.

What HubSpot Sales Hub is built for

HubSpot Sales Hub is a suite sold in tiers, per seat, with paid tiers for sequences and automation. Onboarding fees apply at the Professional and Enterprise tiers. It is organized around managing contacts and deals your team already has.

When Rocketship is the right choice

  • Your pipeline is thin and the first job is finding buyers, not organizing them.
  • You do not want a one-time onboarding fee before anything works.
  • You want the follow-up, replies and meeting booking handled without a person watching a queue.
  • You want the phone answered, so a prospect who calls back reaches someone.
  • You want a flat published price per plan rather than a count of seats.
