AI SDR pricing falls into four models: a quote after a demo, a price per person reached, a flat monthly fee plus add-ons, and credits you spend as the work gets done. For 1,000 people reached in a month, the published prices in this article work out to between about $214 and $1,500 a month, against roughly $6,372 a month in wages alone for a human in the nearest government wage category. Which model costs least depends on your volume, and the add-ons decide more than the headline number does.

Every figure below was read from the vendor's own pricing page on 2026-10-30. Where a vendor publishes no price, I say so instead of guessing, because the estimates floating around on comparison sites mostly come from vendors who sell a competing product.

Model 1: a quote after a demo

Artisan and 11x do not show a price. On the date I read them, Artisan's pricing page listed no figure and offered a demo request, and 11x's site pointed to "Get a Demo" with no plans. This model suits a company with a sales leader, a procurement process and a rollout budget. The cost is whatever you negotiate, usually on a contract. If you are a founder who wants to know the number before booking a call, this model hides the one fact you came for.

Model 2: a price per person reached

AiSDR's pay-as-you-go option is $1.50 per person prospected, with no monthly fee, charged daily, and research, lists and writing included. Its team plans are priced by volume and aimed at teams contacting 1,000 or more people a month, billed monthly on quarterly contracts. The page also lists add-ons: a warmed-up mailbox at $33, a managed campaign build at $149 per campaign, and a fully managed service at $2,500 a month.

Per-person pricing is easy to reason about and punishes high volume. Reaching 1,000 people costs $1,500 before add-ons, and reaching 5,000 costs $7,500 unless the team-plan discount applies. The page says team plans are up to 40% lower per contact, so ask for the number at your volume.

Model 3: a flat monthly fee plus add-ons

Salesforge lists its Agent Frank AI SDR at $499 a month, billed quarterly, and a separate email infrastructure add-on at $416 a month, billed quarterly, for up to 1,000 active contacts. Together that is $915 a month for up to 1,000 active contacts. Amplemarket's Startup plan is $600 a month on an annual term with two users included, and its higher plans are custom.

Sending tools sit in this model too, at a much lower floor, because they do less. Smartlead's Base plan is $39 a month for 6,000 emails and 2,000 contacts. Instantly's Growth outreach plan is $47 a month for 5,000 emails and 1,000 uploaded contacts. lemlist's Email plan is $69 a month, or $55 on yearly billing. These tools send what you give them; you pay separately for the people and the thinking. I compared the kinds side by side in best AI SDR tools.

Model 4: credits

Rocketship meters work in credits. The plans are Starter at $12 a month for 250 credits, Launch at $24.99 for 500, Frontier at $79 for 1,500 and Mission Control at $1,499 for 30,000. A person found with an email costs 4 credits, and nothing is charged when no email is found. Starting work on someone from your own list costs 3 credits, and importing is free. Searching and counting are free. Extra credits are 1,000 for $45. Credits pay for the finding, the research, the sending and the booking; there is no contract and you can cancel after the 7-day trial.

The limit of this model is the daily sending cap. Starter sends up to 20 emails a day, Launch up to 70 and Frontier up to 210, so a plan that has the credits can still be too slow for a big list.

1,000 people reached, priced four ways

Here is the arithmetic for one month, using only the figures above.

  • AiSDR pay as you go: 1,000 times $1.50, which is $1,500.
  • Salesforge Agent Frank with infrastructure: $499 plus $416, which is $915 for up to 1,000 active contacts.
  • Amplemarket Startup: $600 a month on an annual term, a figure I cannot convert to a per-person cost because the page does not state volume.
  • Rocketship Frontier: 1,000 people times 4 credits is 4,000 credits. Frontier includes 1,500, so you add 3 packs of 1,000 at $45, which is $135. The total is $79 plus $135, or $214.

These buy different amounts of work. AiSDR bundles research and writing into the per-person charge. Agent Frank needs you to supply the infrastructure line. The Rocketship figure includes finding the people, which a sending tool does not. Compare on the job covered, not the sticker.

Cost per meeting, with an assumption you should replace

Price per person means little until you know how many people become meetings. I do not have a verified industry rate to give you, so here is a made-up one to show the method: suppose 1 in 50 people reached books a meeting. Then 1,000 people gives 20 meetings. At $214 that is $10.70 a meeting. At $915 it is $45.75. At $1,500 it is $75. Run your own first 100 people, count the meetings, and put your real rate in. If your rate is 1 in 200, every one of those costs is four times higher, and the cheapest model stays the cheapest.

The human number, and what it leaves out

The Bureau of Labor Statistics' May 2025 data puts the median pay for wholesale and manufacturing sales representatives, the closest category, at $76,460 a year, or $36.76 an hour. BLS says most employers pay a mix of salary and commissions or bonuses. That is about $6,372 a month in wages, and it leaves out benefits, payroll taxes, tools and the months before a new hire produces much. This is a reference point, not a like-for-like comparison, because one person works their own list and a tool does not get tired. The line-by-line cost of the seat is in how much an SDR costs.

Questions to ask before you sign

  1. What is the unit: person, email, seat or credit, and what counts as one?
  2. What happens at the cap? AiSDR's page says you can pay overage so campaigns continue, or let them pause. Ask every vendor the same thing.
  3. What is the minimum term, and can you cancel mid-term?
  4. Who supplies the mailboxes and domains, and what do they cost?
  5. Is data included, or is it a second bill? What a sales stack costs when assembled shows how that second bill adds up.
  6. What do you keep if you cancel: your contacts, your replies, your sending history?

If the cost that matters to you is a number you can see before a call, Rocketship's plans are on the pricing page, start at $12 a month and ask for a card at the start of the 7-day trial; it will not close a deal or run a live demo for you.
