What it is
What is under the hood of Rocketship?
Rocketship is the customer acquisition engine for founders, startups and growing businesses, and the system they run the business on. Under the hood it is a lead database with filters, a full CRM, email sequences, AI replies, booking, phone answering, quotes with e-signature and payments, and team seats with reporting, all on one record of every customer. Rocketship powers your bottom line: it is built around new customers and the money they pay.

A lead database with filters
Finding buyers starts with a plain-words description of who you sell to, or with filters you set yourself: job title, seniority, job function, industry, company headcount, company revenue, location down to the city, the technology a company uses, recent funding, and whether the person has an email or a mobile phone on file. A free count shows how many people match before you spend a credit.
What it feeds: every person you add becomes a record in the CRM, so the next steps know who they are.
A full CRM
The CRM is part of the engine, not an add-on. It has a pipeline board with stages you can rename and add (with a swipe view on phones), people and company records, deals with values, tasks, notes with @mentions, custom fields, saved lists and smart segments, an assignee on every lead, bulk actions, search, and a timeline of everything that happened with each person. You can import your own contacts for free and export to CSV.
What it feeds: it is the one record every other step reads from and writes to.
Email sequences
Sequences run up to 10 emails, with up to 3 versions of an email to test one wording against another and fill-in details like first name, company and city. They send from your own Gmail. Each inbox has a gradual daily ramp, daily limits, an automatic pause when emails bounce, domain checks, human-style pacing and one-click unsubscribe. Frontier supports 3 inboxes and Mission Control 50, and each teammate can connect their own.
What it feeds: replies and opens land on the person's timeline, which is what the next step reacts to.
AI replies and booking
By default the AI workers read replies, answer them in the same thread and book the meeting on their own. Approval is an optional setting. The meeting goes onto the right person's calendar: the rep's own calendar when the lead belongs to a rep who connected one.
What it feeds: a booked meeting moves the person in the pipeline and shows up in the reports.
Phone answering
Rocketship answers the number you already have through call forwarding, books appointments on the call, and can place outbound AI calls with an AI disclosure, calling hours in the lead's own time zone and a do-not-call check. A power dialer is there for the calls you make yourself.
What it feeds: the caller is matched to the person the email found, so the call lands on the same record.
Quotes with e-signature and payments
Quotes can be signed with a typed or drawn signature and paid through Stripe into your own Stripe account, with an optional deposit. The site or app where customers buy is part of this step.
What it feeds: the payment closes the deal on the same record the first email started.
Team seats and reporting
Teams get owner, admin and member roles, a central Team page, two switches for whether members can export contacts or delete people, and reporting per person. A teammate seat is $15 a month; Mission Control includes 25.
Rocketship also runs inside ChatGPT and Claude. See the ChatGPT page and the Claude page.
Why it is one engine
Most sales tools cover one step: a contact database, a sequencer, a CRM or a phone service. Rocketship runs every step itself and keeps them on one record. Each step writes to that record, so the pipeline you see is the revenue you will collect.
That is what we mean by a customer acquisition engine. Read what a customer acquisition engine is, or see how a specific piece works in does Rocketship have a CRM and how Rocketship finds leads. Plans start at $24.99 a month and begin with a 7-day free trial, card required. See pricing.
