Finding buyers
How does Rocketship find leads?
You describe who you sell to in plain words, or you set filters: job title, seniority, job function, industry, company headcount, company revenue, location down to the city, and whether the person has an email or a mobile phone on file. When you search for companies, you can also filter by the technology they use and recent funding. A free count shows how many people match before you spend anything, and you pay credits only to look up emails and phones.

Plain words or filters, your choice
Start by describing the person in plain words, for example "owners of independent dental practices in Texas." Rocketship works out the targeting, shows you what it understood, and asks about anything it is unsure of. You can also skip the description and set the filters yourself. Both routes end in the same list.
The filters
For people you can filter by job title, seniority (owner, founder, C-level, partner, VP, head, director, senior, manager), job function such as marketing or finance, and industry. You can filter by company headcount and company yearly revenue, and by location: country, state or region, and city.
Other filters narrow it further: company type, founded year, skills and years in the current role. When you search for companies instead of people, you can also filter by the technology a company uses and how recently it raised money (the last 30, 60, 90 or 120 days). Two switches keep the list useful: only people with an email on file, and only people with a mobile phone on file.
The free count
Before you spend anything, a free count tells you how many people match. If the number is far too big or far too small, you change a filter and count again. Names, titles and company are free to preview, so you can see who they are before deciding.
Contact lookups and credits
Adding a person to your leads takes one enrichment credit. Looking up a phone and email costs more and is charged only when one is found. Plans include a monthly allowance of both leads and credits. You can also import your own contacts for free.
What happens after you find them
Each person becomes a record in the CRM. Rocketship then emails them from your own Gmail, follows up, answers replies and books the meeting, and the history stays on that record.
You can run the search from ChatGPT or Claude too, with the free preview and the same filters. See the ChatGPT page and the Claude page. For the rest of the engine, read what is under the hood of Rocketship. Plans start at $24.99 a month and begin with a 7-day free trial, card required. See pricing.
