Cold email for people who are not salespeople

Cold email still works for one reason: a short, specific message to the right person is easy to answer. It stops working when it is long, generic, or sent to a list nobody checked. Most of the advice online is written for sales teams sending thousands a week. These pieces are written for one person sending twenty a day.

They cover the whole job in order. How to send from your own Gmail without getting flagged, how many to send, how to set up your sending records, how to write the first email and the follow-ups, and what to say when someone replies with 'send me more info' or 'how much is it'. There are also copy-ready templates for contractors, accountants, recruiters, agencies, consultants and a dozen other kinds of business, all with fictional names.

None of it needs a sales background. If you can write a clear text to a customer, you can write these.
